Five strands of pale pink sponge coral beads, especially alternating with gilt brass beauties from India, set the sea-inspired stage for a vintage faux coral and turquoise jeweled brooch by Judith McCann, like a seashell  drifting across the sand under the rolling waves above.  Likely dating to the 1960s, the brooch is whimsical and sophisticated, adding style this summer and seasons beyond.  The etched and gilt copper toggle at back brings the look together at 17.5" in length.
